Day 7: frosting on the landscape

After making french toast in the community kitchen (wow, those big-burner stoves really heat things fast!), we wandered around the trails on the cohousing community property, and toured the community gardens.
I noted that just about everything in the garden was made from recycled materials, including the cold frames:

Yeah. Notice the counterweights so the covers can be raised and held up easily?
