WOOOOO!!!! I was so happy to hear this on Saturday.
I think we're planning on heading out early, and I may be up for helping out, depending on what you need help with (i.e. if it's something that I could reasonably do). Keep me posted!
Wow, that would be way cool if you could help. The outside work is pretty simple - just hanging brackets on some plywood walls 8 feet off the ground, using a cordless drill and a stepladder, and suspending lights from them. They're pretty lightweight, so it's not strenuous - just repetitive. The inside work is still TBD, but it's all finish work, decorating the room with mylar and hanging lights.
That all sounds like stuff that I can do and may even have some aptitude for. :)
Can I let you know once it gets a bit closer to the event if I can commit myself to this? I'm all excited at the prospect, but I also want to be sure I don't overcommit myself.
I have no doubt that there will be videos from Burning Man that show the effects on the funhouse. But that's a good suggestion - I should bring my video camera.
