...Well, I wouldn't mess too much with stuff from my life. I have enough problems without temporal paradoxes causing me to cease to exist and all.

But I still have a list of all the people I'd go and talk to. I'd seek out writers like Emily Dickinson, Charlotte Brontë, Mark Twain, Nabokov, Jules Verne, Shakespeare (of course), etc... And then I'd discuss ethics with Machiavelli and Hobbes and political theory with Lenin and Plato and Thomas More. And then guys like the Caesars (Julius, Augustus, Claudius, et al), Napoleon, Rommel, Lee, Alexander, Sir Isaac Newton, Aquinas...

I'd have way too much fun with a time machine.
