G. K. Chesterton was one of the best writers of the twentieth century.

But the French aren't totally horrid! LOL. But I do like almost all of those snippets. Particularly the last one. :)

I don't think Chesterton hated the French. He was probably being ironic - you can't claim to love all humanity and hate an entire nation. ;)
