I'm glad to read that you liked Outrageous Cherry. Now I have to check out the Candles!!

I'm listening to the BPM - Beats per Minute - station on Sirius a lot lately. Techno/dance seems to be capable of getting my heart racing lately. Well...that and the P.O.T.U.S. (Politics of the U.S.) station but man cannot live on politics alone. :P

Donna and the kids gave me for my birthday:
1. Go Go Boots-Drive By Truckers. Had the download, wanted the physical CD.
2. Ukulele Songs-Eddie Vedder. Very cool album.
3. This Is Country Music-Brad Paisley. I think Paisley continues to be the most fascinating mainstream country person out there, even if, as the PopMatters review of this album noted, it is not quite as ambitious as his last CD.

Both of these bands that you mentioned sound like things I need to investigate.
