check out camper's shoes. get some fun color of leather and make a cute little flower or a bird and sew it on. then make a different shape of leather to put on the other shoe, or put the same shape on a different place on the same shoe!

What you see in others is a reflection of yourself in a way, but it's not on a 1-to-1 basis ie if you see someone as evil that means you are etc. It definitely tells you about the lens that person sees the world through.

I do find that people's interpretation of me varies widely, and part of it is the lens they see me through, but some of it is also what I expose to them. Like the people who have come to my shows see me as a total indie rocker are surprised that I follow professional sports and play basketball, but anyone that's seen me play basketball first doesn't think that's weird. Or some people are surprised that I have depressive tendencies because they've only seen me when I'm optimistic and cheerful. So that's the other side of it -- what they see is partly what you choose to show them.

what i'm talking about is more what people who don't know you well so really haven't seen a part of you, but unknowingly use you as a mirror of themselves. but you're right, sometimes, it is just point of view, but it's also sometimes...the way they are. i wrote a better longer response, but i just deleted it somehow, so this will have to do.
