Why is it so easy to realize what you have when its gone?  Why do we wait until something is absent from our lives to see how good it was?

Why is it that it takes people loosing someone, something to appriciate what they have?

Is it that they are not taught about valuing things early in life OR is it that maybe you have clouded (happier) thoughts of ( Read more... )

Ralph Waldo Emerson says that "life is our dictionary." We don't know the meaning of anything until we live through it. It makes a lot of sense, no?
