First day at the Lamplighter today! Went to band camp from 8-3:30, came home and showered/got ready/ate a quick sandwich, and then worked from 5-10. Was supposed to work to close, but they let me off early. Twas kind of them

i didn't know lamplight payed under the table, because minimum wage is $5.15 an hour....

Well mainly all restaurants do. Here's the deal: on W4 and stuff I claim my wages as $5.15, I suppose and then whatever other money I have I keep w/o paying taxes.

But then again, that's just what I figure - they never really told me what I have to do about that. ha. But yeah, no worries, almost all restaurants pay waitresses/busers/and um, others under the table. So don't rat me out! :p
