People who disregard everything Michael Moore says just because he is the one who said it are as ignorant as the people who believe every word he says just because he says it. I don't want to start a big argument on someone else's LJ, but do yourself a favor and ask yourself those questions he asks honestly. Pretend some one else asked you if you have to. Some people may be surprised at their answers.

I'm pretty sure he still would have been allowed to mouth off at the Oscars if that soldier hadn't been killed.

In fact we'd have one more not-dead soldier on our hands, so we'd be better off really.

Just because Bush is throwing people into a meat grinder doesn't mean that he's actually doing a damn thing to actually protect us.

Funny, because when Democrats win, Republicans bitch. It's how he system works. Also funny: George W. Bush is one of the least useful, if not one of the worst, presidents to sit the office. And I mean that in the most sincere and honest way possible. He's done nothing good for the country.

I hope the democrats arn't waiting for Hilary to run in 08 and win because that would be the biggest joke ever. So except 4 more years in 08 of another Republican in office.

Actually, if things keep up, I don't expet another Republican in 08. Mind you, the Dems could still fuck it up, but hopefully they've learned some things during the second Bush administrations second half that they won't forget. Keep in mind that most of those red states will feel for New Orleans, and we might just get a Dem in office again. We're not going to get some liberal crazy, and that would probably just fail anyway, but all I'm asking for is someone who's even moderaty conservative, or one of the old hat Republicans, none of these macho man, never seen combat war mongering born again hypocrats ( ... )
