That was an interesting read. I've only seen two of those, and read botht he books they're based on. I actually think I have to agree that Geisha was slightly better as a film. Both are brilliant, but the film did embrace its theme with much more ease. Robin Swicord did a fantastic job.
But I can't go along with the Harry Potter analysis. The book was my favorite in the series. And although I liked the movie a lot, it had to make cuts to some very needed character development.
Both were good films though. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
The only books I've read on that list are HP4, Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and Pride & Prejudice. I've only seen Harry Potter and I thought it was an excellent adaption. I'm looking forward to seeing the other two! I'll post back once I do :)
