Ok, with all the many LJ subjects with the chorus of this song, I had to post it for you non-Bristolians. If you want me to sing it to get the full effect, feel free to ask. Also: ((Ccan any of you Bristol people send me our version of "Roll Me Over"? I've been googling but I find all these different versions. Thanks much ( Read more... )

AHHH!!! Not again!!! I had that stuck in my head the other day after taking the monkey quiz. But at least you only know the clean version. You don't need to be corrupted with the other version. . .

heh heh heh, not from me you don't, you need to wheedle it out of the BBF if you want it. I don't corrupt lil girls. That's what fight cast is for.

LOL! That's a big "ouch" to fight cast but highly amusing nonetheless. Anyway, I'll ask around... hehe. Do you know the Bristol version of "roll me over" off hand? I've been trying to remember all the verses and have failed.

Liz, I think you've lost it almost as bad as Mr. Goetz did today.

Must be mental breakdown day. :-P

Just kidding. :)

There's no set version. It's "roll me over in the clover / roll me over, lay me down, and do it again" for the chorus, then you just make up stuff. "This is number one, and we're having so much fun / roll me over, lay me down, and do it again." "This is number two, and he's heading for my shoe / roll me over lay me down and do it again."

Et cetera, et cetera, and so on, and so forth.

There's a better verse to number nine.

Who's gotta monkey?
I've got nine,
wash their bones with turpentine!

Monkey monkey monkey monkey monkey!
