Ole vol. 43
3 Oct 2011

Yesterday, when my work has ended, I went to attend Juri's sports meet.

Even though I rushed to attend it, I could only stay for 30 minutes

This is a school which I also know, that's why it feels kinda nostalgic.

But the jerseys were so oshantii that I felt irritated

By the way, oshantii is actually one level above oshare.

(t/n note: Oshare means cool or stylish)
There was also a teacher whom I knew who told me, "You and I are both already 40 years old
"
"Eh
 You've grown old, sir. I'm almost 26."
"You've grown old too ne.. (laughs)"
It's really amazing how we could chat like this and I really felt that I've became an adult.

Even though I used to dislike schooling that much.
The school, the teachers, the studies, the train that I rode everyday; even though I disliked all of it, right now, I feel that all of those things that I disliked have became the most amazing treasures.

I think there are probably many students around now, and I'd like to give you a piece of advice...

For the meantime, just go (to school)

Because there are no such things that are done for nothing in this world

No matter how long it takes, it's alright; for the meantime, just graduate

Feeling someone's irritating you; teachers annoying you; homework that are bothering you; people whom you think are just not as strong as you; whom do you like; take in all of these negative emotions, because that is the only time you can experience it

Being a working adult is not easy, you know

All of you students

Now is the time, isn't it?
To sing the praises of life

There are also many reckless acts that you can only do when you are in your teens
Even for me, I used to think that I was the centre of the universe

Somehow i didn't feel like screaming for love.. (see t/n note)

And also, at night, I went to the house of the younger brother who went with me to the country of dreams and the 3 tanaka brothers and my mom went to a family restaurant that one of my younger brothers worked at as a part-time worker for dinner.

It was really a great time

Because my younger brother always pronounced "monthly" (t/n note: in japanese it's read as tsukigime) as "gekkyoku" (see t/n notes below), i taught him the correct way to pronounce it

As the lord also thought that it was pronounced as "gekkyoku" until 5 years, the lord really felt that this idiotic manner is just so alike of us siblings (laughs)

As I'm really exhausted now, I'll end off here...

Get ready and look there......

Hoi

Koracchu

-----------------------------
T/N notes:
1. Koracchu is Koki's short form for Congratulations.
2. What Koki said was "なかなか愛を叫びにこないなぁって…". As I'm not really sure how to translate this, if anyone knows of a more appropriate translation, do let me know :)
Update: nishya mentioned that this is likely a reference to the movie "Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socrates_in_Love) - meaning "Crying out of love at the centre of the universe". :)
3. Tsukigimme (月極) is made up of 2 characters which, when read seperately, can also be read as 'ge' (月) and 'Kyoku' (極)

If there are any mistakes in the translation, do let me know! :3
