I'm kind of hating everything right now. I hate the way I look, I hate school and the way things are going with school, I hate that I built up Germany in my head as some kind of great adventure that would change my life for the better. I'm so confused right now. I thought being an interpreter was my "It job", and I'm finding more and more that

Hey boo
I know we talked about our "calling" in life for a brief moment while I was in Germany, but I want to reiterate. Even if you come out of this experience realizing that this is something that you do not want, at least you got THAT decision out of it. What if you were someone else majoring in German and never going out and experiencing it for yourself and then 4 or 5 years down the line come to the same conclusion you came too in just ONE year? You shouldn't dwell on the fact that you still don't know what you want to do with your life, you should look at it in the way of you just crossed one more thing on a HUGE list of things you COULD do. You are probably one of the most talented and driven people I know. I know that you will find something and I know that you will be wonderful at it. Who cares what country you end up liking/living in, you are fabulous EVERYWHERE.

Lindsay I read this and all I can tell you is I know exactly how you feel because I feel the exact same way...it was like reading my own thoughts. But I do know that you're a brilliant and wonderful girl and everything will fall into place for you eventually. I love you Bo :)
