Because I have a rediculous number of pictures from the Galapagos, I'll separate them into pictures from San Cristobal (the first island we stayed on), Santa Cruz (the cruise ship), and Santa Cruz (the second island we stayed on).

The Cruise

The ship (The Santa Cruz). During the filming of the movie 'Master and Commander: Far Side of the World', several crew and cast members chose to stay aboard this very ship during the filming that occured in the Galapagos. Trust me, on the inside it was much nicer than it looks from the outside.

Emergency drill. Like the life preservers?

Group Shot in the lobby of the ship: Desta, Kerry, Matt, Ann, Dave

"Look! I'm... I'm flying Jack! I'm flying!!!"

Masked Booby

Juvenile Born with a mutated beak. According to our guide, as soon as its parents stop feeding it because it is old enough to feed itself it will die, because its curved beak prevents it from getting the food it needs.

Going down into the lava flow cave

Inside the cave. Caves such as this one were formed when the outside of flowing lava cooled and hardened while the hot inner lava continued to flow, leaving the hollow outer shell as a cave.
