What beautiful doggies! I am jealous. I wish we could have a dog, but we're going to have to foster the cat we have while we're out of the country, and it'd be hard to find a two-year home for a dog, too.

Wow, maybe I fell a bit too much out of the LJ loop, but when did you decide you are going out of the country? And why?? I'm jealous of that!! Traveling is so awesome!

Thank you! Yeah I always thought that name was odd but interesting and then I found out it meant "light" which I thought was a fitting meaning. Honestly, we had a bunch of other names we were considering for her and none of them were sticking 100%. We felt like Ives' name just fit immediately but hers didn't stick until I suggested this to Matthew and I was actually surprised at how quickly he said he liked it. :) But yes they are very furry and loveable!

Thank you! I totally agree and I think part of the reason I wanted to get pets were to fulfill some maternal need in a reasonable way. They're really great and we're blessed to have found them!
