I love so much the things you choose to be. I WILL STILL BE ROLLING AROUND IN THIS POST LIKE FOUR HOURS FROM NOW.

Sheldon and Penny are glorious, I love their dynamic and watching Sheldon, a very closed person, open up as you say. I'm not invested in the show but I am very much invested in them, and I now make a habit of downloading episodes that I hear have a lot of interaction between the two of them.

Sheldon/Penny totally make this show for me. Other aspects may be amusing from time to time and I always appreciate some good nerd humor (that I feel mildly ashamed at understanding at all) but I definitely wouldn't be that into the show without this aspect of it.

I actually started watching when it originally aired and I gave up after 3 eps because I wasn't really that into it. Oddly enough the 4th episode had Sheldon/Penny hanging out alone for the first time. haha.
Which is the same thing that happened with True Blood. I gave up after 3 eps originally and Eric showed up in the 4th. Gotta remember to give shows 4 episodes to grab me.
