I love the way he looked at hear after she thanks him for saving her life. "I don't like having feelings." His face totally made me think of that part in book three.

Ah yes, that would have been a great quote to put there!

I think the quote thing was easier for me last year because I just finished reading the books right before s2 started. And now it's been a year! lol I start skimming through book 3 as a I do this though.

But beyond just him having feelings for Sookie, I think going to the ends of the earth for someone you love is something that Eric understands better than most people.

Yeah! I have to admit that it's not something I totally get. But I love that Eric does.

And I like that, probably partially because of that, there are certain lines both book and tv Eric won't cross. Like he said in the episode before, it would be beneficial for him in "several ways" if Bill wasn't around. But Eric knows enough to know that wouldn't really work out.
