TWENTY-SEVEN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE OCTET I PLAYED IN?
The There-Are-Eight-Of-Us,-Not-Four "TrainWreck" Octet?
The eight-elevenths of symphonic band's trumpet section octet?
The one that only practiced our song together once?
The one that got a musical history lesson after their solo?
The one that was supposed to play at 5:40 yesterday?
The one that almost had three of their trumpets stuck in the band room?
The one that warmed up on the hill?
The one that sent five people to Friendly's where they proceeded to knock over a drink, build a tree, give a 20% tip, switch names, play taps (the game, not the song), take pictures, blow air through straws and generally act like fools?
ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT US??????

Wow.

What Liz said.

I personally think it was the 10 lava lamps raandomly placed around the room, and the dying lilacs, and the hidden sourdough pretzels tub, that helped us get a 27.
Hmm.

The amazing things that nobody notices.

Well.
That last bit doesn't make any sense.
I distinctly remember that someone DID notice them.
Especially the lilacs.
Because I stood between her and the lilacs in order to block her view.

ahem. You.
