Life is busy.  I got the promotion at Target so I've been doing 40 hours a week and sometimes it seriously feels like I never, ever leave that place.  I'm glad I have, for the most part, such fantastic coworkers, but I am so so glad that I have this weekend off.  I really need some time to wear something OTHER than red and khaki.  My sister's ( Read more... )

I cannot wait for regular season baseball to start!!!!  I just got back from Florida last night and saw two games while down there, in the sun and warmth and loveliness that is the southern US in March and I want to go back immediately never to return (except for regular season baseball, of course).  I was mere inches from pro pitchers.

Whoohoo I'm going to Florida from Feb 28 to Mar 4!!!!!!!!!! Whoooooooo.  I never getta go anywhere so I'm so freaking excited.  Not only is it FLORIDA in the WINTER (the average high is 80 in Ft. It's amazing that Christmas is in 3 days and it totally doesn't feel like it.  I've worked the last 5 days in a row, so Target is uber busy obviously, but for whatever reason, it doesn't feel that much like Christmas is coming.  My family thing isn't until Christmas day, which is unusual, so maybe that's part of the reason, but it's weird.  I'm ( Read more... )

So I'm slightly annoyed currently.  My boss at Target is no longer my boss, she's moved on to a different department.  So she's been training me to do everything she'd been doing so someone's doing it.  Which makes sense, expect that I'm getting paid $8.25 an hour to do stuff she had been doing for 46k a year.  I've only been with Target for two ( Read more... )
