pairing: woohyun/sunggyu
description: because Nam Woohyun was a thief and nothing else.
author's note: I'm actually really happy with this, and I was literally jumping in my chair and squealing because WooGyu is too cute.
dedication: for yeolbear since the idea came from a conversation with her! :3

“Sunggyu!”

Sunggyu sighed and turned around to face a familiar face. “What do you want now Woohyun?”

“Can we go get ice cream?” Woohyun asked.

“No! We’re about to come back so we can’t get fat.”

“Not even if I do my aegyo for you?” Woohyun started jumping around doing bunny ears and making disgusting noises.

For the hundredth time, Sunggyu wondered who on earth had been idiotic enough to tell him that was attractive because it really was not (and another voice in his head wondered if Woohyun had decided it was cute himself). He sighed and shook his head. “Really, we need to be responsible or manager-hyung will get mad at us.”

“But I really want some…” Woohyun pouted and made puppy eyes to his hyung.

However hard he tried, Sunggyu could never resist this boy’s eyes. They were normally small, but somehow Woohyun managed to make them huge at will. So when he looked like this, Woohyun could always get what he wanted out of Sunggyu.

“Fine, fine,” Sunggyu agreed in exasperation, cursing himself for never being able to say no.

Woohyun immediately leapt up and ran out of the room. “Sunggyu hyung said we can go get ice cream!” Sunggyu heard the shouts of Sungyeol and Sungjong before a storm of feet shook the house and a door slammed shut.

Nam Woohyun really was something. He had been the cutest thing when Sunggyu first met him, barely eighteen and excited about entering the industry. Sunggyu had been ready to put his everything into training to fulfill his dream, and he’d understood what he’d end up going through. Woohyun on the other hand was still so young, and the harshness of his new life hit him hard. More often than not, Sunggyu would find him crying at night, whispering to himself how much he wanted to go home. It made his heart ache to see the younger boy in such agony, so he sat down next to him and talked to him.

They became the best of friends, and Sunggyu knew there was something special about Nam Woohyun.

Nevertheless, he didn’t figure it out until the first time he heard Woohyun sing. In that moment, he knew that his heart had been stolen (and he wasn’t going to get it back).

“Hyung! We have ice cream!” Sunggyu’s thoughts were interrupted by the very boy he’d been thinking about. Woohyun’s head poked into the room, and the excitement in his eyes alone motivated Sunggyu to adhere to his dongsaeng’s call.

While the other members enjoyed the cold taste of ice cream on a hot summer day, Sunggyu studied Woohyun. The perfect way his bangs swept his forehead, his sharp jawline, his straight nose, and most of all, his beautiful eyes. With every thought on Woohyun, he had no grasp on the conversation occurring around him. Therefore, when Sungjong asked him a question, he jolted out of his daydreams. “What?” (He didn’t see the way all the members other than Woohyun smirked because they knew he’d been utterly distracted by a certain boy with voice as warm as chocolate.)

Later that night, Woohyun suggested going up on the roof to look at the stars. Sunggyu agreed after a pause, but everyone else declined, saying they had something to do.

Woohyun stood up and held out a hand to Sunggyu expectantly. “Coming?” He smiled, and Sunggyu’s heart melted. He let Woohyun pull him up and kept his hand in the younger boy’s as he was dragged outside.

The other members exchanged glances after they’d left. They were all getting sick of Woohyun and Sunggyu dancing around each other and not getting anywhere. Anyone could see that the two were soul mates to the core. They just needed a little push, or maybe a hard shove, to get their heads out of their asses. (And Myungsoo and Sungyeol were dead set ready to kill them both if they didn’t figure it out soon.)

Woohyun only released Sunggyu’s hand when his feet hit the rooftop. He sat down and leaned back, letting out a big sigh. “Ahhh, it’s nice outside tonight, isn’t it?”

Sunggyu settled himself next to him and agreed. There was a gentle, cool breeze and a comfortable silence in the air.

They gazed at the stars, just admiring their simple beauty. The stars would there for them always when everything else had gone away. No matter what, they would keep shining and spreading happiness across the earth.

Yet however beautiful the stars, Sunggyu could not stop himself from glancing at Woohyun. The moonlight outlined his handsome face perfectly and reflected in his gorgeous eyes. He’d never seen Woohyun at night, but now he swore to himself that this was when the boy was most beautiful. So when Woohyun turned to him and smiled that irresistible eye smile, he could not take it anymore.

Sunggyu grabbed the back of Woohyun’s neck and kissed him, hard. His heart leapt when he felt Woohyun kissing back.

“Do you have any idea how much I want to put you in jail?” he whispered against Woohyun’s lips.

“What, why?” Woohyun broke the kiss and stared at Sunggyu in confusion.

“For stealing my heart,” Sunggyu said before capturing the boy’s lips again.

When the pair came back into the dorm hand in hand laughing, the other members all smiled. Finally, they thought in unison.

Sunggyu was not surprised when after they went to sleep that night, an arm looped itself around his waist.

“So I stole your heart, huh?” Woohyun murmured while gently kissing the back of the older boy’s neck. “Well, I’m glad I did.”

Sunggyu had to smile because of course he wouldn’t say sorry, he never seemed to feel remorse for his actions.

So the younger boy fell asleep with his soul mate in his arms as well as his heart in his hands (though he’d already had it for a long time) because Nam Woohyun was a thief and nothing else.
