Nice job not freaking out over the change of plans and making the best of it!

Aww, so sweet about Oliver! I am so impressed that you handled a newborn mostly by yourself after surgery. That's no easy feat! You should be proud that you handled it so well.

Initially I was disappointed but it is what it is.

The first couple of months were hard. Harder than I thought it would ever be. Oliver wasn't the easiest newborn. He hated sleeping on his back and would not sleep in his bassinett, He took a half hour to an hour to finish a bottle. He would cry while eating and he spit up a lot. The nights felt long and the days even longer. But once Oliver hit the four month mark, I sleep trained him and he's been sleeping through the night ever since :D

You've done really well with the challenges you've handled over the past year, you should be proud of yourself!

Kudos to you for not losing your shit when people canceled.

Have a Merry Christmas! I fully expect pictures of Oliver dressed up in Christmas gear! No pressure!

Well shucks, thanks.

I was a bit disappointed because of the time and effort it took to plan everything out, but it is what it is and I had a fun time last night. The restaurant was ok and I got to wear my awesome new heels from Forever 21.
