Lawsuits are just horrific. Even if the judge turns it down right away, you still have to pay through the nose for the lawyer. Add onto it that your Dad’s insurance will go up. It makes you wonder, what is the purpose of that insurance really is if you have to pay more when you use it? In a fair world, the insurance would do its job and protect your dad, not raise your rates after it is used. Also that lady would have to pay your legal bills for bringing a suit against you and loosing. As it stands, I think the judge can only make her pay the court fees, but not the cost of the lawyer. This is just absolutely ridiculous. I’ll be praying for you and your family.
