I cant believe I have made it this far into the pregnancy, my OB is surprised too. Little Conor is already about 4 lbs and 18 inches long. hes always kicking up a storm and is already head down! His nursery is almost done, its an under the sea theme and its adorable! Matt still has to put the carseat, stroller, pack and play and bouncer together. ( Read more... )

hi there! I followed you here from the community when I was looking at the entries tagged "cerclage." I just got one done on Wednesday and it was pretty traumatic, although the procedure went exactly as the doctors said it would. I was in for a prophylactic cerclage so I had a lot of closed cervical length to work with, but it was still very nerve wracking. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi I guess (weird, maybe?) and see how you were doing. I hope everything is well. Take care!

Hi! How are you doing with your cerclage now? Any pain still? I hear ya about the procedure being nerve racking, but Im glad I did it. Im doing good, i had it removed two weeks ago when i was 36 weeks and honestly the removal hurt but it wasnt as bad as some of the horror stories I read before I went in. I am now being induced Oct. 26th at 39 weeks for some borderline high blood pressures. My cervix is doing well, dilating and effacing normally. I hope you do well and you have a great rest of your pregnancy!
