Just got in from my trip to G-ville. I love that town...so much character...I said bye to my brother who is moving back out to Cali to go here: http://www.wciu.edu/ I have a sinking feeling that it's going to be a lot longer than just 1 or 2 years before I get to see him again. I am sad =(

Today was my last orientation for the next 2 weeks. It was a sad afternoon. Everyone stood up and said what their favorite thing about the experience was. Tears were shed, and we haven't even gotten to the final banquet yet. Still, it reminded me of just how much I have learned from this experience. Roald Dahl, Tim Burton, and Johnny Depp= Phenomenal. That movie was apparantly more true to the original book than the original movie was. It was very quirky and managed to portray a much darker side of the story that the old movie failed at. Very twisted. It was perfect ( Read more... )

* I saw Hot Hot Heat in St. Pete...I was disappointed. The singer seemed cocky. He had a great stage presence but the rest of the band wasn't up to par. All of them needed more moves. Putting someone down for something they have no control over (i.e. age, race, physical features, intelligence, sexual preference, etc.) shows a weakness in your character. In fact, it not only makes you look uncool, it makes you look like a real jerk...and idiot. The sooner the world realizes this, the closer we will be to world peace. Freakin'
