The Political Compass is far better... having taken both, I can definitely vouch for that. The Quizilla quiz is written so that the only way it will be positive is if you land pretty much right in the middle: i.e., don't really believe strongly in much of anything. Clearly, I fall pretty far to the left, yet the quizilla scale insists that makes me closed-minded... which, it's fair to say, I'm not. On the political compass, I fall pretty deeply into the libertarian left (which should surprise nobody who knows me).
