Not many people post any more, which is sad because I always used this as a way to keep in tough with people who are far away and Facebook just doesn't allow for the type of intimacy that LJ does. I'm glad to hear you are doing well and I hope I get a chance to visit before Xmas this year, but even if I don't I'm bringing Trav with me for the holidays so we will see you then. Congratulations on the engagement!

I'm going to take your reemergence as a moment to PSA: As a writer, you should definitely back up your LJ writings. Things are somewhat grim in the land of LJ, and government-sponsored DDoSes are fairly dire things.
