Dear MBTA:

The pronunciation of the word "via" is vee-uh, or possibly vai-uh, but NOT vee-eh. Of the three of them, that last one is even the hardest to pronounce, so why do you do it?This is quite possibly the most infuriating thing to me about the T. Is that what they're trying to say? I always thought it was VA, like VA hospital.

I'm fairly certain. Longwood doesn't have a veteran's hospital, so I don't know why they would call it "VA." I think they're trying to say "via," as in the train goes through Longwood Medical Area to get to Heath St.
