Don't worry about your boyfriend, seems like he is just playing "hard to get" or look cool in front of his friends, I'm sure he really does care about you, Cheer up don't let him bring your days down, and keep an eye out for him next time cause if hes not gonna approach you and be a "baby" about the misunderstanding well, someone has to take charge!
