Okay, I'm starting a comment so I can keep track of the stuff that I ADORE:

- the opening. obviously. because it's a ME kind of opening but it's you as well, so it's the perfect opener for a remix.

- the product of vectors moving perpendicularly is zero - nothing HAHAHAH YOU PUT IN PHYSICS FOR ME <333333 ILU CLAIRA

- it would be so easy to just keep flying into the black pin-pricked with light. - this is such an elegant encapsulation of her self-destructive tendencies

- It’s not the right one, but she lies under the Viper for ten minutes until Tyrol’s called away before she emerges to get the one she actually needs. - because it's not a Starbuck thing to do, but it's a very KARA thing to do

- In the year she’d been gone, he’d rewritten all the rules.

- I’m the CAG. She’s a pilot. - I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE

- Kara had known just by the way Lee started penning the first line, laboriously neat, that he had no idea of what the next line was, or anyway of getting to the solution at all. - mmmm, character notes and metaphor all tied

I just loved this! There was always that missing stretch in S3 between when Kara comes back from New Caprica and tries to re-integrate with the crew. I really think you nailed exactly how she would have been feeling. Trying to fit in and "behave" would have been torture for her.

*sigh* I just loved the ending. Weaving in the lines from Home was the perfect way to bring them back together.

Now I want to read High Ground, by fahye to see where the re-mix occurred.
