Hair drabbles (Subaru/Yasu)

1. Subaru’s hair feels different under Yasu’s hands now. Where he used to tangle his fingers in the long locks, they slip right through now. It’s different, but not completely unpleasant. Subaru’s hair is soft, so soft, and it feels weightless as Yasu sprawls his fingers on his nape and slowly lets them glide upward. Subaru shivers, tilts his head forward, a silent demand for more. Yasu obliges, repeats the caress, scraping his nails on his scalp as he brings his hand down to do it again. It almost feels like petting a cat. A very large cat lounging in your lap. The analogy makes Yasu smile to himself.
2. Yasu grips a handful of hair and Subaru arches against him from head to hips. Subaru’s hands curl on his back, fingernails digging into his skin. Yasu starts seeing advantages to Subaru’s new haircut when he leans in and has clean access to lick at Subaru’s jaw. New patches of skin seem to be revealed and Yasu is only eager to explore them all. He nuzzles a spot behind Subaru’s ear and trails his fingertips along his hairline, short hair barely tickling the back of his hand.
3. The alarm goes off and Subaru rolls over and buries his face in the crook of Yasu’s neck. Yasu has to reach over him to turn it off and stop the offending beeping.
“Morning,” he says, dropping a kiss on Subaru’s forehead on his way back to his side of the bed.
Subaru doesn’t let him get very far, though, and slips his arms around Yasu’s waist, pulling him closer and hooking his thumbs under the waistband of Yasu’s boxer shorts. Yasu kisses Subaru’s cheekbone, the side of his nose and finally Subaru’s already puckered lips. The kiss is lazy, lips moving slowly, caressing. One of Subaru’s hand slips lower to squeeze Yasu’s butt and Yasu responds by pushing his hips into Subaru’s.
“Mmm. Morning,” Subaru finally greets back, voice heavy with sleep. His eyes are half-closed and his hair is sticking out at all angles. “Sex?” he grins lazily.
Yasu chuckles and leans in to press their lips together. It’s a good thing Yasu always sets the alarm an hour early.
