so yeah...I'm trying to buy a house, thats right BUY A HOUSE, and i'm going through all this loan mumbo jumbo, blah blah that i don't understand. Pretty much it goes that i can get a loan, and am approved for one, but i have to come up with $2000 on my own to cover closing costs, so the company is going to try to get me approved for a lesser amount

I hope it works out for you. I'm in the same boat. Well, not the same...but I can't do shit with my perfect credit because my bills cancel it out. I have to have a co-signer for this apartment because, even though I have never missed a car payment or other bill stuff in my name, I don't make enough money once I quit this RA job and my campus jobs. It doesn't matter that I've held these jobs more than two years because I'm quitting in May...which means they say I need a co-signer because they don't know if I'll have steady income, especially since i'm student teaching (not being paid a whole semester)! BUT, I will get a loan (financial aid) and it still doesn't matter to them. So, I think I have to move back home for a semester and student teach there so I can live for free while I work for free, basically. UGH. I don't want to be 22 and living at home for a semester, but I have no choice with all my bills and a full-time job I won't get paid for. I'm so frustrated too, hottie. It's not like buying a house, but it sucks.
