So I work at Virgin now. I got offered a position as an Assistant Manager (Operations) and I accepted. Totally came out of nowhere. I went there to interview for a clerk position and they offered me this....yeah after like a month of waiting to hear back from them! I now join the other Tower ex-pats who work there----Furn and Aimee

off topic - especially now that you're not in the travel buisness - but i know that you are a guru of travelling ;) i'm going to new york - any random places you know of that should be seen? i'll only be there a day, so i'm trying to find the really interesting stuff ;)

hahaha....i did new york in one day too and guess what? it totally wasn't enough time. good luck with the humidity. i wanted to die and take everyone with me after walking for about 10 minutes. you have to go to central park and see the imagine mosaic. so you can be all john lennon drama. when you leave the park after seeing the memorial you should goto Franks for the most out of control hot dogs. if you are looking for a good museum i would say hit the gugenheim. the met is way too big to see all rushed in one day. i have yet to do the top of the empire state building....but i'm sure you should do that if it's possible. i took a corny harbor cruise through all the burroughs and thoroughly enjoyed it. so i recommend that. just walking up 5th avenue and going into tiffany's and stuff like that is fun. also you gotta just check out times square. the bars are out of control and most are open until like 4am....so have fun. i wish i was going with you. i think i might be taking a trip out there in october/november.
