Wow, that wrapped up faster, and in a way I wasn't expecting. It's a very nice end to the story. I especially liked the last scene, with Prowl taking up her ritual. She'll and those she mourned likely be remembered long after humanity is gone.
Something less closed. A bit more on her adapting to being crippled, ending somewhere along the lines of she and Prowl coming to terms with it.
With this ending, I find myself wondering things like 'did Prowl go back to the Autobots', 'how long between the three scenes', 'what was her life like among the Autobots', 'how did Prowl integrate back in, if he did' and a *lot* more on J/P and their bonding -- and her figuring that out.
*Circles around the ending and prods at it with a stick* I really should stop asking questions like that. Partner is done, but the bunnies...the bunnies...
This as wonderful - and so delightful to be able to sit and read it in one sitting. Sierra is a fabulous OC, just who Prowl needed, and she needed him. Jazz's return (along with Ratchet and the others) was such a joyful thing.
I loved the ritual at the end (and throughout the story). Tender and lovely.
I'm with Kat - I'd loved to have read a bit more about her life among the Autobots, but I loved this ending as well because it suggests just how short and fleeting human life is compared to the mechs. Well done.
Thank you. I'm very happy Sierra has met with such a positive response, with the general prejudice against human OC's.
There might be more about her time with the Autobots. I have a couple of small plot bunnies lurking in the shadows. At the moment there is a very large bunny that grabbed me last night that has nothing to do with Stranger, Partner, or anything else that I have written, so those might be on hold for a little while.

I am kind of curious as to what you were expecting though.
