Glad you like it. This was me working out a culture point...

There are several other one shots from this verse, but this is the only P/J centric one up. I have a general idea for the entire story line, but I'm having a hard time hammering out a couple of essential details. Probably the reason the large story hasn't been written yet.

So was Crystal premature? It sounds like it. It'd be interesting to see how everyone reacted when Prowl went into premature labor. How early was she?

And I have to say that I love, love, love that Prowl was the carrier!

Actually, she wasn't, but there were multiple complications surrounding her birth.

Between my theory of reproduction and the fact that they were stuck on earth without all of the resources they were used to Prowl and Jazz had a great deal to worry about and Ratchet had a couple of serious headaches. My head cannon is slightly warped. The other two sparklings mentioned had femme carriers so when they separated they were completely integrated sparks and frames. Mech's can spark carry but not create frames.

Hence the reason for Ratchet wanting her to have a little extra boost.

Impact's a femme? When I read your 12 Days of Christmas fic, I got the impression Impact was a mech. Did I over look a 'she' or 'her

Impact is a femme and for a better introduction to her you could try the first fic- Whisper. I think there is all of one reference to Impact's gender in the Christmas one. That one ended up being Prowl/Jazz somehow...the prompt really was Ratchet/Impact.

There is a very convoluted theory of reproduction for this 'verse. In my head I managed to reconcile the ideas of Primus, the Quintessions, and Vector Sigma and make them fit together. Yes, my brain is scrambled.

I don't mind the questions. They usually help me think. However, the answers you want are rather long and involved, if you don't mind waiting a bit...

And do you mean cut the entires in my personal journal? *head tilt*
