people say weird shit like that all the time on dating websites. The WORST statements to me are 'I'm a nice guy just looking for a nice girl.' or 'I'd like to meet someone equally comfortable in a dress and high heels and jeans and a t-shirt.' Ugh, get some originality. He was obviously not a philosophy major, just one of my answers in my profile was philosophical (actually, it's a quote from Reality Bites, but people take it seriously). However, I do have a degree in philosophy, so I'm not sure if I can let this misspelling pass. A girl's gotta have standards.
maybe he has a special way of spelling certain words. who knows. instead of saying "love" i use "larf" or "loaf." instead of "fuck" i opt for "fack," "fork," or "feck." maybe he's doing something similar...or not.
Tee hee, I thought I was picky! I'm a stickler for spelling too, but I'd let this pass for now. However, the fact that you are a "Phylosophy" major would make this hard to overlook. Sorry, I wasn't much help lol.
Bad spelling is such a turn off. On the other hand, sometimes people just mistype. Like me. I do that a lot. Spelling philosophy wrong twice... I say give him another chance.
