Every time I listen to NMH, I get really creeped out. For one, you have that voice...it's crazy great/creepakoid. Then there's the semen staining mountaintops, which is just creepy in a purely innuendo-ish sort of way.
And then there's the songs about our dark brothers wrapped in white. I mean, I don't even know what that MEANS, but it's creepy.
But again, creepy awesome.
I think my bowels would not just involuntarily let loose, but also implode in a suction no less than that of a ginormous black hole. In a good way.
ok, i understand your arguments. Mangum's an acquired taste. the lyrics are odd. but lest we not forget that after these so-called creepy records (which, yes, are admittedly weird at first listen), my man turned into a complete recluse. like, probably wandering around the Appalachian Mountains sort of recluse. to me, there is no higher honor. in conclusion, we must bow down down to him and hope that there is some more awesome creepy material coming our way. it would rule more than an infinite number of Mamma Mia soundtracks being launched into the sun would rule. you know the extent of awesome i'm talking about.
That picture has to be a fake, I refuse to believe. Also, I can not believe jeff magnum. Um, I kinda don’t want him to come out of hiding at all at least not for NMH, maybe as himself.
