I'd be grateful for your finding out the name of the drug from your mother ... and yes, helping to regulate the blood glucose level with exercise was discussed ... as was optimising the natural insulin in my body by losing weight ... so it would seem that increasing exercise can help in two ways.
Hi Rick! Hope you had a Merry Christmas too, and that 2011 is a good year for you as well. This was the first Christmas I was really alone (well, not really, because the nice girl across the road was alone too, and she's a good laugh ... we decided a long time ago that neither of us would be offended by the other running around naked (well I always seem to need something which I have left in the kitchen while I am getting dressed ... in front of the kitchen windows that overlook each other ... so you can tell she's OK, lol), so although neither of us cooked for the other, we did both have some company, and I had a great relaxing day. I don't think my parents would have appreciated this very cold and long winter we are having this year, and Magnolia really use to feel the cold, so maybe things have happened at the right time

got around to reading this, after remembering and forgetting so many times. Nice to have a friend across the way, I have my family of course, but my nearest "friend" is a 30 mile drive into Boston, with it's horrible traffic. I too sometimes forget what I do when cooking. Last was a chicken and basic Italian risotto (basil, majorum, oregano, salt pepper) I thought was fabulous, but just couldn't recall the Special ingredient some time later. I finally recalled, it was just some orange peel!
