I think online bullying is coming to light more nowadays compared to 20 years ago when I became a victim.
21-22 years ago, when I was 16-17 years old, I fell victim to online bullying on AIM. The person knew everything about me from where I lived to the people I hung out with to the guy(s) that I liked. One of my friends did a search of the screen name to find that the person was a younger brother of a guy in our grade, but we couldn’t figure out why he’d do something like that knowing our classmate wouldn’t do anything like that. If it really was his brother, we don’t know. I’m 38 years old now, and it still baffles me why it happened & who it really was, not that it’s all that important now. I’ve long forgiven them, but I guess I just wanna know who it was & why they did it.
