WHAT THE HELL. Why am I so hungover? I had three drinks in the space of five hours, interspersed with food and water. Chris did the same, and he's perfectly fine today. But me? HOLY HELL. I can't even consume water without getting sick. -

So Chris and I have put Croatia on hold for a little while as we try to sort out Florida at Christmas. Apparently flights alone (from London) would be 560 or so each, but flights + a rental car for 12 days would be....600 each. And you can pay in installments without accruing any interest for six months, so we could have it paid off before we go ( Read more... ) -

Tex Mex staple
I made homemade tortillas tonight. I use Hugh Something-Something's recipe, mainly, but I've tweaked it a bit by adding some leavening. I don't have to make tortillas, of course, but I've yet to find a decent store-bought tortilla on either side of the Pond, so it's something I'm happy to do if I have the time.
