I plan to read the mars trilogy... after this book, I suppose. I was trying to come up with an eloquent way to express my amazement at the stuff that seems possible given what we know (that for now tends to have horrible consequences (living longer, being super strong but with those infertility and other things are problems, apparently)) and was very close to say "we're living in the future." It's too good a phrase. It's getting cliche-ed.
