I hate to sound dreary, but I'm not quite sure of why you would get a tattoo that says "happiness is neverending". Speak for yourself, or convince yourself, but it's not true. Ppl are out killing, stealing, raping one another, ppl lose loved ones every day, lose their jobs, their family, etc. Even our own lives are going to one day come to an end, even if you live the happiest life there can be, it's still going to come to an end. If there's such a thing as reincarnation, and ppl continuously come back as this and that and live happy lives, that too one day, will become no more, because the earth will be consumed by the sun. Then what? "Happiness is neverending" is a nice thought, but unrealistic, just my opinion, maybe I'm just bitter cause I've been screwed over the years by ppl(my eyes have been opened), I see how ppl truly are, or because my mom just recently passed. Either way, hope you don't take offense, and I wish you well.

it's something way deeper than that. it has many meanings and i apologize that your mom recently passed, but i know happiness is out there. and it is true. i hate to sound mean, but i got this tattoo for me, not anyone else. i can't be bothered with everyone elses lives or what they think or don't think. this tattoo means more to me than i can ever begin to explain. i'm sorry your opinion of the world is so depressing, but not everyones is.
