NAME: Alfred F. Jones (U.S.A)
SERIES: Axis Powers Hetalia.
HISTORY: Alfred F. Jones is the little brother of Arthur Kirkland, the manifestation of the UK. And while he and his brother Matt (the manifestation of Canada) were both raised separately, he was always the apple in his brother's eye, and often was doted and spoiled by Arthur. That was until around the time of Boston tea party and the growing unrest of the settlers of the British rule and as well as growing distance between him and his brother caused Alfred to drastically separate himself from his father-figure.
Though it pained him to fight the person who raised him, Alfred did indeed win in the battle of the American revolution. Something that to this day, the two brothers get stiff at the mention of the subject, and even to this day often get into petty squabbling at the sight of each other. UK still seeing the other as too young and too hot-headed, and America seeing him as someone too stiff and something of an antique.
Alfed, now free and unlimited by his brother's guidance nor control set out to become one of the most powerful nations in the globe. Though he's been through his fair share of scrapes and turmoil in the end, he almost always seems to come out as brightly as a hero, never hindered by the set-back presented to him--only seeing them as challenges to improve.
PERSONALITY: Alfred as going with his role as a representative of the USA, has pretty much a lot of the traits known through out the world of his people. He's bright, energetic, young, somewhat self-centered--he's clueless when it comes to listing places on a map that aren't in or near his country--and proud. He's rather brash and doesn't seem to have a good hand on the concept of tact and coupled with his "Do what I want" attitude, he's got a bad habit of getting on other countries' bad sides, even when he only means to help out.
Even though he's rather selfish, it's not to say he's a bad guy. And when he hears of other nations in plight, he's one of the first to go offer any help he can. Because he's pretty much grown up with the "HERO" mind set, he tends to sometimes dig into problems that aren't really his, and is amazingly pushy when it comes to international affairs, however he is never one to beat around the bush and his directness can and has helped others out in the past.
He's severely obsessed with cheeseburgers, making movies, and has many aliens that reside in his house with him, and yet is easily scared of horror movies. He actually gets scared rather easily, to the point that if he's by himself in the dark, if someone else is with him, he makes sure to fall asleep before they do, lest he be the only one awake. It's one of his more childish traits that he doesn't like being brought up. He's also amazingly oblivious when it comes to other people or nations' feelings--it actually surprises him when he discovers that people don't care for Americans very much.
SAMPLE Alfred sighed as picked at his food once more. Looking about his room, he shoveled some more of the pasta that'd been offered to him with a slight grimace--it wasn't a cheeseburger, therefor, it didn't hit the spot for him in the slightest. Picking at the remaining pieces of angel hair, he paused half way through and began to notice that the pieces looked like a certain person's eyebrows.
Blinking for a few more moments, he let out a snigger at the idea of the expression on that old wind-bag's face if he found out that not only had he been playing with food, but making impressions of him IN said food. Perhaps it was cause he'd been mostly feeling useless in a place like this--it had interesting points and something new was always happening but, it still didn't feel like home just yet--but the sudden joke made him relax somewhat. Ignoring the looks he was getting, he continued to laugh at the Pasta!UK--whom he pretended was lecturing him about the 'bit of green in your horridly overly bright canines'--tossing back his head he let out another roar of laughter.
Catching his breath, he broke up the pieces and swallowed it in a go, getting up easily and patting a bystander on the back: "Take care of the mess for me would you?"
Feeling oddly enough better at just the mere thought of his ever-nagging, if somewhat doting father-like brother, he sauntered off to explore some more.
