American's jobs and minimum wage with a sprinkle of "raise your own kids"

My biggest issue with Bush from this debate- He wants to grant people who cross over our borders temporary worker permits. Here is the problem. Yes these people will want to come work for their 5.15 minimum wage with no benefits because it is better then what they have in Mexico for example. I have been thinking much of the same thing. There are major pro's and con's to both issues. One kills potential jobs and limits choices, and the other keeps the wages ridiculously low. From reading my journal you would be able to tell that I am very conflicted on this issue.

Don't get stuck in the two income pull if you don't want to, move if you have to. Sometimes thats the only way to avoid it.
In Orlando (where we are looking) you can buy a 3,000 square foot house for under 200k.

as a consumer, you also want prices to be as low as possible. if it were not for migrant workers, grapes and tomatoes would be $6.00 per pound.
