photos from
k112c's birthday dinner at the relatively new
Sip Resto & Lounge on Granville Street. beautifully furnished interior (if a bit lacking in table space), great service, and an all-around fab place to hang out. Sip is also available through Dine Out Vancouver this year for those interested. ;)
the Linguini Con La Vodka was fantastic, my Seared Rare Hawaiian Ahi Tuna was a bit too un-rare for my tastes, and The Fillet of beef was tasty if a bit thick.
the mango liquer cheesecake was fabulously rich. good for sharing.
Sip's drinks were GREAT (we tried Golddigger, Niki Nova, High Maintenance, Shi Shi Mai, and Flirtini). Grey Goose vodka bottles all around the bar! somuchlove. <333.

so i spent an hour and a bit at International being chatted up by this incredibly hot man who used to be a Vancouverite, but has since relocated to the Middle East for a job with a company that designs/builds ships. he has the most beautiful eyes. :)))
Victor and Kazuki and whomever was with me at the counter left, so i was chatting to the guy alone (i'd look around to see if anyone showed up but nooo). Victor later said he didn't want to interfere, and expects the same courtesy when he's trying to chat up girls, hahaha. Loretta says he wanted my number. he didn't ask, so i didn't offer. ;)
Sabina from PCL and i have an ongoing tally of hot boys that come up to us at DTB. we only have one so far (hello Gavin!). the Air Canada Toronto employee today doesn't count cuz he was kind of annoying. :P
why yes, we were that bored at Domestic.
