ELIZABETH-SENPAI!!
Made a random quick fanart (lines only) to destress. I might correct and colour this later to serve as a guinea pig for my future forays into openCanvas.
My current 'list' for Gintama (no thanks to the Japanese and their excellent fanart):
All the following are in order of who I would actively search out fanart for.
Favourite character(s): The 4 Joui, especially Sakamoto and Gintoki; Shinpachi, Kagura, Otae; Shinsengumi; Elizabeth. Well, I also like Otose, but I wouldn't look for fanart of her. D:
OT3: Yorozuya
OT4: Joui 4!
Pairings: Any combination of Joui 4 although preferably Gintoki =/= uke. Inexplicit/extremely mild Gin x Shin is cute. I regret to say I can't see any pairings involving the Shinsengumi yet (not even GinHijiGin!! the pairing I thought I would like by default! SHOKKU DESU) because they are so damn cracky and I haven't watched Mitsuba arc - it's possible that my opinion will change after watching that. Incidentally, going through the Gintama search site, I saw a listing for Elizabeth x Katsura. YES ELIZABETH SEME. and how the hell does a pairing exist for Elizabeth anyway?! How would it/she/he erm... show its affections?!
Favourite crack pairing = Kondo x Zura.
Gintoki semeing the entire cast works for me as well.
As for het pairings, after watching the Benizakura arc, Gin x Otae is starting to look good. D: Also, Katsura x ramen shop lady whose name I cannot remember; extremely marginal Shin x Kagu; equally marginal Oki x Kagu because I cannot picture them stopping their fighting to do anything remotely romantic.
I do not have an OTP for this series although GinSakaGin and Gin x Otae are beginning to creep up on me. Benizakura arc made my GinZura levels go up by 50% zomg.
Fun fact: Takasugi's seiyuu is the same as Kururu's!! LOLOLOL
Random fact: Madao looks damn cool in the Donten OP.
Episode 62: 62 EPISODES OF CRACK, OKAY MAYBE 58 EPISODES OF CRACK SINCE 4 EPISODES WERE SERIOUS BENIZAKURA ARC, AND GINTAMA IS STILL DELIVERING. Otae is slowly becoming one of my favourite characters too boss D:
THINGS LEFT TO DRAW:
1. Stop procrastinating Sakamoto-san or he will cry.
2. Do preliminary sketching for Kalah's commission.
3. Colour oC guinea pig. Finish Deneb.
4. If sketches are approved, start work on commission.
5. Start drafting stuff for Gintama art trade.
