Numbers are not so much of my life anymore..

The scale has been holding at 165 for the past couple of weeks. I'm happy with that because I'm learning how to maintain. Of course I don't want to stay at this weight. I need to learn though how to maintain for when I do get down to 125-130 ( Read more... )

I love the song too. I have it on one of my workout CD's. It's that one song that motivations me while exercising. You can say that it inspires me to get better. :)

Thanks about the pictures! I'm starting to post more of them now that my self confidence is on the rise. Wooohoo!

You look so good.
And I'm glad you're maintaining.
Even though lowering the numbers do feel better, maintaining is still the best thing you'll do.
Trust me though, you won't have to learn to maintain at 125-130. I thought I'd have to learn too, but it just comes with eating less. The most I gain, and I mean, REALLY gain is 5 lbs. And it comes back down.

Thanks hun for the compliment! I just posted a couple more pics. :)

I'm glad I'm maintaining also. I know that one day the numbers will drop, but I'm not worried. What I'm doing right now seems very similar to how I lost 30 pounds six years back. I can't remember exactly what I did because for one I wasn't trying and two I wasn't pressuring myself. It took my a year and half to do it, but damn it I did it. :) I ended up staying at 148 and that's when unconsciously my disordered thinking of eating came around.

I'm glad to hear that once I get to my goal weight it shouldn't be so hard. :0
