weekends are too short!!!
i lived thru the past weekend, it was insanely short!
this past weekend was insanely packed with lack of good food, being left out, dehydration, sisterinlaw's babyshower, excessive amounts of people, family, ribbons, bows, tape, wrapping paper, beans, gatorade, more family, driving, ewoks, willy wonka and the chocolate factory, duran duran music videos, vhs, go west, wham!, and misc 80's stuff, and lack of sleep. all in one weekend, and this upcoming weekend is looking to be the same. sadly, my momma is forced to go to vegas with my tia but i'm gonna stay here this weekend and hit up some shows i think.
- i found a pink scarf for my unborn niece. i am gonna go get it embroidered with her name and give it to her when she's born to match the pink coat my mom bought her. i would still like to find a baby necklace with a pendant "J" for her!! it would be her first bling bling from me - Tia Rachelina. =D
- i got a red scarf for me, a new watch, silver and gold eye shadow, and new sunglasses. i need to buy some new converse since my favorite red ones are ripping. :(
-i went to drop my check off with Ben. he bought me dinner and we caught up on what's being goin on in our lives. he's changed a lot and so have i.
-i taught both classes to sing the star spangled banner in less than 2 weeks. today when they sang it for my boss, it brought tears to my eyes, it was just sooooooooo amazing, to hear their little voices, see their little faces and they sing with pride because they understand what it means because i explained it to them and they get so excited too! they are my little miracles and i love them all!
-my little boiiiii aaron called me today and left me a msg. i called him back after my class let out and he told me he doesn't like kindergarten because sometimes he gets on red and doesn't get a suprise on friday and he said he misses the preschool and wishes to come back :) so pretty soon he is gonna visit and also we get to hang out and play dragonballz soon on his ps2 one of these upcoming weekends. i told him how raeann the cuppycakes called me too the other nite and he said to say hi and he still remembers all the things i taught him with astronomy and fractions and the moon phases. he said his dad bought him this big book on that stuff and that when i go over, i can read it to him. and soon i am gonna have some hot chocolate with raeann and her mom and read some books!!! it is nice to know that the kiddieos that even though they are growing up and moving on, that they still remember and come back to say hello. i know that i still remember every single teacher i've ever had in my life because they have each impacted my life so much and i am filled with so much happiness to know that i have impacted someone else's life positively. it's such a rewarding feeling! :)
-i really enjoy working with the children. they make me so happy. i am seeing them all grow and learn and understand and develop and that week i wasn't there, i really missed them all so much. going back really was my cure-all. they make me feel better. SO MUCH BETTER! when i am with them, i am me. i am home. i hope that feeling never goes away in wherever my travels take me. children make my world go round.
-themomz, beckah, I, and a few others will be having a D2MAPD party upon her return from Vegas. it stands for DuranDuranMoscatoandPizzaDanceParty. when duran duran comes to town, the momz and i are there! and maybe beckah. yesterday, i went out in search of the new duran duran for my mom and i found it and the greatest hits cd, and when i got home, we both jumped up and she had the new cd too! but she didn't have the greatest hits, so we agreed to a trade off with the richard marx and the greatest hits. tee hee!
yes, that's right, i said it, richard marx, the momz and i are retracing our 80's yout (a little inside, i know :P ).
-shows galore soon! so looking foward to it all! INTERPOL AND MOZ!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEE!
i should concentrate a little on school though. all in good time. i also have to withdraw soon from two classes.
