I'm going to talk to Daniel though because the only issue is if I chose to room in his 2-person-occupation room it would mean sharing it with Random Unknown Person and sharing a bathroom with them, and that's not so awesomesauce.

I think scanlations of Kurogane were dropped at or around Vol 3 because ADV picked it up. AND THEN THEY STOPPPED DOING IT FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON!! and Imon Peacemaker... I think Fifay got tired of doing it so stopped.

I think I still have most of it laying about at home.
