Part 1: The Basics
1. What is your full name?
Somatic Performance Xavier Zero One Zero. I am called Ten for short.
2. Where were you born?
I suppose I was born in the maternity ward in the Xavier Facility.
3. How old are you? I am roughly six years old chronologically but biologically I am eighteen due to the nanites that were used on me.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
None. I wish I had a brother though. I think it would be pleasant.
5. Do you have any dreams?
Yes. I dream about many things. Does this mean dreams for my own future though? I'm not sure if I have any that would be worth disclosing.
6. Where do you live now, and with whom?
I live with the other prototypes at the Xavier Facility. We also have some scientists who rarely leave so I suppose you could say they live with us.
7. What is your occupation?
I am a prototype for a 'super-soldier' program. That is enough for now.
8. To which social class do you belong?
I would say that I am a Criminal.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? I am hard of hearing in one ear due to an accident while in the field. I'm mildly allergic to raw corn.
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right
11. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
'Five by five sir.' 'Aw crap.' 'I do not understand what you said'.
12. What clothes style do you wear?
Black fatigues or black pants and a black shirt. We aren't really allowed to wear very colorful items. It makes us easier to track in the labs.
13. What do you have in your pockets?
Some lint and this nice looking pen I 'borrowed' from a lab.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I've been told I sniff the air. I like chewing on tooth picks when they are made available to me. I take enjoyment out of annoying my fellow prototypes. I worry after people I have adopted into my 'pack' and feel the need to check up on them. I don't see myself as human. I don't understand why people interact as they do so I tend to play with their feelings if I feel they are a danger to what I have defined as my pack or what my pack deems as important.
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
Different.
16. What is your earliest memory?
I remember crying I think. I can't be sure if this was a memory of my own or something fabricated by the Administration. But I remember the doctor. Well. I think it was Dr Rosen. He found me hiding under a table and asked me why I was under there.
I told him it was because the monsters were going to get me. Of course it wasn't long after that I think that they aged me up to around 13 or 14. Maybe 15? I can't be sure. My memories of the past are not very easy to access.
17. How much schooling have you had?I would say a fair deal. I understand many concepts and have an excellent grasp on how to perform many tasks related to what I was made for. I also know some things that aren't very important for that.
I still don't really understand WHAT a horse is though. Perhaps I could request to see one to compare it to bovine?
18. Did you enjoy school? Yes. I like learning.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?I learned it in Training Site 03-A. It's a good place.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
I didn't really have any. I'm not sure if people in the Nexus would call me an adult either so I can't answer this fully. But seeing as I locked this to Nexus folk here is my list of people I look up to.
--Admiral Miles Vorkosigan. He is one of the people I admire for fighting other people's views of him. I also admire his....humanity. He has never treated me like a tool. I find it unusual for an officer and something I admire. I wish I could be under his command. I would guard him with my life. I see him as pack.
-- Constable Benton Fraser Benton is my moral compass. He is all the things I can't be right now. I wish I could do the right thing because the idea of disappointing him causes me to feel human. He treats me like I can be a good person. He has offered me so many words of good advice and I think I understand him. He is very much pack.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
I can't say I had family to get along with.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an electrician. It sounded like a great deal of fun to me.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
Playing with clay, paint, glue and anything else I could get my hands on. It was very thrilling being able to make things.
I also liked blowing bubbles in my milk.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
I was very happy. I was shy around strangers I think. I trusted adults too easily(I wish I had known better). I also was very opinionated about how to eat apples.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
I don't really remember, sorry.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
Ardvgybv! I've NEVER done that.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
I WOULD NEVER DO SUCH A THING. IT IS GROSS AND.....I could never trust someone that much.
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
I am not a normal human. Some of my senses have been augmented and I have known of them for a very long time. I don't see the need to tell stories.
Part 3: Past Influences
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
Finding the Nexus.
30. Who has had the most influence on you?
Benton.
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Nearly completing my training. I'm the best at what I do in the Facility.
32. What is your greatest regret?
.... Hurting Eleven. I blame myself for her getting caught.
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
I killed a man who was about to atone for the sins he felt he committed against many as well as his country. And I enjoyed the act even though I KNOW he could have helped save people I care for.
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
It's probably been covered up.
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
When I thought I was going to be reeducated. I was afraid I would forget my plans and the Nexus.
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
I walked into a wall after I woke up.
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
I would turn left.
38. What is your best memory?
The Glue Bomb incident of 2006.
39. What is your worst memory?
The day I found out Five was dead. I punched a mirror in my grief. I miss him.
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
I'm optimistic I would say.
41. What is your greatest fear?
It's a tie between sensory deprivation and being claustrophobic. I'm deeply afraid of both.
42. What are your religious views?
- I do not know if I believe in the being people call God.
- The idea of a soul is strange.
- If there was a hell I know many people who belong there. I'm just one of them.
- My ideal after life would involve nothingness. A void.
43. What are your political views?
.... I can't answer this. I don't understand it fully.
44. What are your views on sex?
It is a gross thing. Keep it away from me. I don't like bodily fluids anyways.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? I can kill. I prefer to kill when there is no other choice but right now that means I'm following orders to survive.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any being could do?Slavery.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
No.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
Being happy with yourself.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
It depends on the situation. I don't tell people when I desire to splatter their brains on the walls. I also don't talk about my plans to just anyone. I only share my thoughts with people I trust with my life. And the fact that I *DO* trust people with what I think is a big deal to me though.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
I have issues with people I see as weaker than myself but other than that I would like to think I am free of such feelings.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it? That's a hard question to answer. I don't like torturing people but I would pretty much do a lot of things other people wouldn't do if it got me to where I needed to be. But I do strongly detest the idea of myself performing any kind of sexual act. It's possibly because of the fact I do not find people attractive that way. I have no breeding instinct in me at all so I would guess that is why as of now I'm not capable of viewing any sort of male or female 'like that'.
Sex is the one area I'm not capable of wandering into.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
Pack. People I am working for. The things I view as 'right'.
Part 5: Relationships With Others
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
There are several ways I treat people based on where they fall in my mind.
Pack- Friendly, polite, with respect and an amount of trust that no one else gets. I listen to not only what they say but how they say it.
Team mates- They might be pack as well but they get a different treatment based off of group dynamics. If I view someone as dominate over me in a team I am more curt with them. I listen and also show them respect so long as they are doing their jobs right.
Enemies- I feel very hostile towards them. Often I have the ticking need to verbally tear them to pieces if I do not have a weapon on hand or if for some reason I'm being held back from getting rid of them. I find that most irritating. But I can also wait a very long time to get my hands on them or find other less obviously violent ways to destroy them depending on why I see them as the enemy.
People in general- I treat them politely unless I feel the need to provoke them. The need to provoke someone is rare but yeah it happens.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
I'd have to say Thirteen. I ne4ed to look after her. She's not only pack but she's a team mate. She's also very terribly young compared to the rest of us. It's different with her. She's the 'baby'. She's what reminds me of one of my biggest screw ups.
And I'll never fail her. I won't leave her behind.
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
I....have friends. I do not have a best friend though.
There's Fraser? It would be difficult to describe him. There's also the Admiral. Very hard to explain who Miles is too.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
No.
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
No.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
NONONONO!
60. How close are you to your family?
I don''t have what you'd call a family.
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?I'm sterile.
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
Benton Fraser. I seem to do that quite often.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
Yes. I have a list of people that I know for their own reasons or because they like me would protect me if I needed them to. I don't know if I feel comfortable listing them all off. I eat paranoia for afternoon tea after all.
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
While I am optimistic that someone would care because they like me? I know the Admin would care because I cost them a great deal of money to create as well as time.
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Only when I have to. I prefer having someone to look to.
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
I don't mind it so much. But sometimes I experience anxiety attacks if my senses begin to go hay wire. That hasn't happened in a long time due to a crowd though.
69. Do you care what others think of you?
Yes but not many people.
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
I like paint ball. I also find working with clay to be very relaxing.

I like baked potatoes.
74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
I like old detective novels, marine biology books, and biographies.
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
I can't watch movies. If I do I talk about how unrealistic the fight sceans are with whoever will listen. Music is ok though.
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
No.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
Eating in the mess hall followed by a mockingly lazy stroll to my bunk.
78. What makes you laugh?
Life.
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
Unnecessary torture. Also the number of sex related questions in this thing.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
I.....would scare the guards by acting openly friendly.
81. How do you deal with stress?
I internalize it.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
I like plans damn it. I just have trouble sticking to them in the long term sense.
.
83. What are your pet peeves?
I hate finger nails being bitten at.
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
I get up. I shower/groom. I dress in a clean set of clothing. I eat. I go for training. Training takes up most of the day with a break for lunch. Then more training followed by free time then dinner. Then more training. Then bed. Rinse and repeat.
I don't mind changes so much. Most changes are for tests, check ups, missions, or other things that takes the place of something during the day or replaces the whole thing.
86. What is your greatest weakness?
The fact I have issues understanding people and why they do things. Also I know I can get pretty bitchy which gets in the way.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
The fact I don't understand people at all really.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Maybe extroverted.
89. Are you generally organized or messy?
Organized.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Good
1. Working with fire arm.
2. Team management.
3. Keeping others secrets.
Bad
1. Comprehending the world.
2. Not fixating on things.
3. Tracking.
91. Do you like yourself?
Most of the time I do. When I don't I am surprised.
92. What are your reasons for doing what you do? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
At first it was because I was good at it and took pride in it. Then I learned that it was bad. After a while I learned to think about it for myself and now I know what I do is wrong so what I'm really doing is working towards changing it and helping others to change as well. That is the reasoning people I trust with everything probably know.
People I don't trust? As far as I know back at the Facility they still think I'm a good little toy soldier.
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
I want to bring down the Facility and destroy what it is. I want justice for the dead.
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I don't know. I'll be eleven years old. I'll also look twenty-four. And I don't know how much longer I have to live anyways. My life has no certainties.
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
Fighting. Or from a bullet to my head from too far away for me to see coming.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
Say sorry to Eleven.
Make sure Thirteen is ok.
Say sorry to myself for not finishing what I started.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
I'm not sure. Maybe being the rebel.
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
That Weird Girl.
100. What advice would you give the world?
Never stop believing that good can come of anything.
Urg. That took much longer than I thought. I wanted to finish it though. I hate leaving things unfinished. Anyways it would be nice to see others fill this out. I suppose if you want me to clear some stuff up too I can do that.
