#1 rule of state fair: Don't go hungry.
Once again it has been a while, but it was a good weekend so i had to update.
Well thursday night I slept over at angies with some other people, it was fun, I went to sleep at about 6. then i had swim practice from 12-2. then i went to the Olive Garden with the swim team. When i got home from there Kathryn and I decided to hit up state fair for the night. Neither of us had gone at all this year and figured it was about time. We had some special fun in the car, especially thanks to some stuff we found in her back seat. haha yeah it was great. so we walked around state fair, saw various people we knew. Called Janelle, met her boyfriend, then decided to walk over and see if the switchfoot concert had let out yet so we could find more people to talk to. sure enough, as soon as i start to walk over there i see Jacob and Josh. So talked to them for a while then as soon as the left 2 minutes later i see Jimmy and Aaron. so we stand around talking to them for a while then all of the sudden jimmy goes, theres beaner and paul. im like WHAT! oh man i was totally in love with them last summer. haha yeah craziness. so they come over and we talk to them, so then they said they have to go back to jacobs so jessie can go home. so we start walking across the fair grounds and then all of the sudden this guy comes over and starts talking to aaron and jimmy and im like hmmm he looks familiar and its this kid from myspace named BJ. hah i knew i recognized him from somewhere, he was really nice, and was with some other friends and they were all nice too. then we left state fair and went back to jacobs then they gave us a ride to our car which was like 10 blocks away.
At 12 on saturday i woke up to the sound of my cell phone singing drunk girl, so i knew kathryn was calling. so i crawled over to my phone that was charging and kathryn said she got off work early! so i had someone to go to the lifestyle show with me. so i went to the mall to meet my mom for lunch then i got 2 pairs of jeans from american eagle, then i came home, it was about 4. started looking up stuff about the show. the lifestyles myspace said the show was at 5, somersets said 6 and facing new yorks said 7:30. so kathryn picked me up at about 5, we stopped at starbucks then headed downtown to the miramar theatre. we parked down the block then as we were walkingup we see some guys wearing girl pants standing outside and we're like yeah they look hot haha and as we get closer im like, thats the lifestyle. haha so we open the door to go into the venue and they are like, i dont think the doors are open yet. so we just stood outside witht hem. then they said they were going to go down to atomic records and said we should come with. so we went to the record store for about a half hour. then went back and sat outside the venue for another hour. we talked alot about DDR and Iowa (where they are from) vs. Wisconsin. we told mason we wanted them to play "the spainard song" hah and hes like i hate the song so much and told us how hes glad we know it but pretty much it makes him want to kill himself. haha and this girl Lindsay came. yeah not gonna say anything about that. but anyways she went on warped tour with from first to last and zach is like i fucking hate them, if i ever see sonny ill punch him in the face or something like that. so there was a very great amount of time spent talking about their hate for from first to last. haha
so then at about 7:15 we went in the venue, just waited around for a while. then the first band played, i didnt ever catch their name. next was the Lifestyle. They were great of course, they sound amazing live, and right before the last song adam is like "ddr party tonite with these 2 fine ladies over there." then mason is like "yeah? no? no. okay adam stop freaking people out." haha yeah they didnt play the spaniard song but thats alright. then we sat in the lobby for a while and i see mason and zach kept looking at us and then we get a note passed to us on a gum wrapper and it says "did you ladies have fun tonite? yes no maybe (circle one)" haha so we passed it back then later we got a bottle cap thrown at our head and it says I heart you on it. haha cute. then they went and got little ceasers from across the street and we had them get breadsticks for us too. so they come back and we go into the backstage/upstairs area and eat finally. we were so hungry. so we just hung out up there. the guys from somerset were up there getting ready and stuff. one of the guys from somerset comes out of the bathroom and says "did anyone else want to eat the walls? it looks like whipped cream" hahahaha that made my night. so we stay up there for a while longer then we go downstairs to watch somerset.

after that we stood around for a while not knowing if we should leave or what. so we finally decide to go backstage cause we could see them loading the van. their friend gina was back there too. she was really nice. and we were like oh well i think we're gonna leave, and they're like what you dont want to hang out? and we're just like well what are we doing? so finally we decide that were going to go to gina's house that is like a block away. so we go there and guess who is sitting on the porch with zach, when we walk up? drunk lindsay. hah so then finally the rest of the band (minus kyle) find their way to her house. then we just sat around her house and did random stuff and watched the cable guy. hah then finally im like yeah i work about 7 hours from now hah we should get going. so we said bye and ended up getting back to my house a little after 2 or so.

Yeah today i got out of work at noon. it was awesome. todd comes over and is like you want to go home? and im like mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....yeah. i need the money but i couldnt take staring at the water with no one in it any longer. i am sooo tired.
so this week wednesday, show @ tanner paull with sam, jonathan is hosting it so we're gonna go. Thursday is remember the day's last show, so gonna try to get to that after work. Friday is the All-American Rejects/Number One Fan Show with Sam and brittney. hopefully going to hang out with number one fan after. i love them.
